Golden Acorn believes we should present the very best resources for today’s educators. They are for people who need practical, relevant and up to date support in their classrooms and homes now. All our resources have been written using five underlying principles. The resources must:

• Ensure children make good progress.
• Reduce teachers work load.
• Provide products that link home and school learning.
• Provided support which is at the forefront of education.
• Provide teachers with the opportunity to support other teachers.

We currently also provide training.  This training is split into three broad areas:

• Writing for pleasure and for profit – This is aimed at teachers who want to turn their educational expertise and vast skills base into a product which can educate others and be sold.
• Educational training for educational professionals.
• Providing workshops for parents in helping their child to achieve – schools provide the venue, Golden Acorn would provide the training.
